For anyone who missed the beautiful love story, Prince Harry and Meghan met after being set up on a blind date by a mutual friend back in 2016. Thanks to their hectic schedule, the pair decided to go on their third date to Botswana. Speaking about their trip, Harry said: We camped out with each other under the stars, sharing a tent and all that stuff. It was fantastic." The pair announced their engagement in November 2017 after Harry got down on one knee during a cosy night at home at Nottingham Cottage, Kensington Palace. Speaking about the proposal, Meghan said: "It was just an amazing surprise, it was so sweet and natural and very romantic. He got on one knee." Meghan's acting career fortune
Since Meghan starred in over 100 episodes and seven seasons of Suits, the star made an impressive salary during her time on the show. According to reports, she received around £37,000 per episode, which made her annual pay cheque around £333,000, including her brand endorsements. She also appeared in several films, including Get Him to the Greek and Horrible Bosses. Her role in Remember Me earned her £140,000, while The Candidate earned her £130,0000. The Duchess also released of clothing line for Reitmans which quickly sold out. As a result, her net worth in 2017 was valued at around £3.8million.

However, Meghan quit her acting career after announcing her engagement to Prince Harry. In their engagement interview, she said: "I just see it as a change… It's a new chapter, right? And also keep in mind I've been working on my show for seven years. Prince Harry has an enormous fortune, and the global wealth firm Wealth-X has estimated his net worth to be around $25million, while other outlets gave reported it to be around $40million. The Prince is paid a private income through the Duchy of Cornwall, the royal family's estate. According to the official website: "The Duchy of Cornwall is a private estate established by Edward III in 1337 to provide independence to his son and heir, Prince Edward. A charter ruled that each future Duke of Cornwall would be the eldest surviving son of the Monarch and heir to the throne… The revenue from his estate is used to fund the public, private and charitable activities of The Duke and his children." Harry also made an annual income from his career in the army.

Both he and his older brother, Prince William, inherited half of her estate, which is estimated to be around £20million. They're not made public so we don’t know who exactly got what or what happened to it. It wouldn't surprise me if they kept back the lion's share of jewellery until both of the Princes were married so that they could split it." Harry revealed that he had Meghan's ring made with diamonds from his mum's collection, saying: "The ring is obviously yellow gold because that's her favourite and the main stone itself I sourced from Botswana and the little diamonds either side are from my mother's jewellery collection to make sure that she's with us on this - on this crazy journey together."
