Opening to much fanfare in 2009, Heather Mills' vegan restaurant VBites in Hove, East Sussex has closed its doors – albeit temporarily.
According to the company’s website, the restaurant will be closed for the winter to “focus on staff training, recipe development and VBites franchising”.
Saying that she will be franchising the vegan eaterie, Heather told a magazine that she already had 75 people interested in the idea and that they were planning to open in London, Manchester, and New York.
Quashing rumours that the restaurant is closing for good, Heather insisted that nothing could be further from the truth.
"VBites had a great summer, the success has brought us many opportunities to become worldwide”, she tweeted.
“We look forward to seeing you again soon when we re-open”, says the restaurant’s website.
