Having earned a reputation as one of the most talented actresses of her generation, Liv Tyler has now been confirmed as its most graceful. After two weeks of frenetic voting, Liv has been voted Most Elegant Woman of 2003 by hellomagazine.com voters. The 5ft 10in beauty won 25 per cent of the vote, compared to runner-up Nicole Kidman's 20 per cent.
Proving the theory that true style comes from within, the Lord Of The Rings star has steadfastly refused to bow to Tinseltown's pressures. "I have been told that if I lose weight I'd have more work, but I won't submit myself to Hollywood standards," she says. "To the rest of the world I am slim and I like the way I am."
