Strawberry and blueberry smoothie recipe

This blend of superfood berries and wheatgerm makes a delicious way to kick-start your day

Ingredients (Makes 1)


  • 50g/2oz strawberries, rinsed and hulled
  • 50g/2oz blueberries
  • 1 banana, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 200ml/7fl oz low-fat yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp wheatgerm


Whizz all the ingredients, except for 1 tbsp of the wheatgerm, in a blender until smooth. Serve straight away in a tall, chilled glass, sprinkled with the remaining wheatgerm.
