31 AUGUST 2011 His smile says it all – Hollywood's hottest bachelor is content without a first mate.George Clooney, who split with Elisabetta Canalis in June, looked content as he arrived in Venice by boat on the eve of the Italian city's film festival.
He was joined by a crew of friends – including Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber.
The group made their way to Venice together after spending a few days being entertained by the actor at his Lake Como retreat.
George is in town to promote his new film The Ides of March, which will open the cine fest.
After getting settled in, the star joined cast members of the new film for a photocall.
