TODAY'S ROYAL HIGHLIGHTS
- King Charles to visit nuclear transport ship in Scotland.
- King Frederik and Queen Mary to relocate to Grasten Palace in South Jutland.
- Princess Charlotte's royal first revealed.
Today's agenda
Hello and happy Monday!
Kicking off a new week, we have King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark moving to their traditional summer residence, Grasten Palace in South Jutland, where the Danish royals have often retreated to for the warm summer months since 1935.
The couple's last public appearance was in early July, and Frederik's mother, Queen Margrethe, and his heir and eldest son, Crown Prince Christian, have acted as regent, indicating that the Danish monarch has been enjoying a break from his public duties on holiday. They are thought to have been at their French abode, Château de Cayx in Cahors, with their 14-year-old twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.
To mark their move to the area, it's likely Frederik and Mary will meet locals. Stay with us for more live updates on the royals!
Charlotte's royal first
The Lionesses celebrated another historic win as they lifted the trophy at the Women's Euro 2025 final in Switzerland on Sunday night.
The Prince of Wales and his daughter, Princess Charlotte, were in Basel to witness their victory against Spain.
Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia of Spain also flew in to support their home nation, and even posed for a snap with William and Charlotte.
After the final whistle, William and Charlotte shared a joint personal message - did you spot the Princess' incredible royal first at the age of ten?
The King's outing today
It can now be announced that the King has an engagement in the far north of Scotland today.
Charles will visit a nuclear transport ship and unveil a plaque to mark the 70th anniversary of a decommissioned nuclear site where engineers experimented with plutonium and uranium to generate electricity in the 1950s.
The monarch will attend an event hosted by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority in Scrabster, Caithness later today.
He will attend a reception at Scrabster Harbour to mark the 70th anniversary of the Dounreay nuclear site, the 50th anniversary of the Pacific Nuclear Transport Limited (PNTL), and the 20th anniversary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
It comes after Charles was spotted at church on the Sandringham estate yesterday.
King Felipe in Mallorca
Hours after his daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, appeared at the Women's Euro final, King Felipe is back to business this morning.
The Spanish king has met with the President of the Balearic Islands, Marga Prohens, at the Marivent Palace, in Mallorca.
The Spanish royals traditionally spend their summer holiday on the Balearic island.
Baby joy for Duke and Duchess of Westminster
In case you missed it, but the Duke and Duchess of Westminster have welcomed their first child.
A statement released on Sunday, 27 July said: "The Duke and Duchess of Westminster are thrilled to announce the birth of their baby daughter.
"They have named her Cosima Florence Grosvenor, who was born in London today, 27 July.
"Both the Duchess and Cosima are doing well. The Duke and Duchess now look forward to spending this special time together as a family."
Princess Anne's joint trip with husband
The Princess Royal travelled to the Isle of Wight with her husband, Sir Tim Laurence, on Saturday.
The royal couple visited the Royal Ocean Racing Club in Cowes on the Isle of Wight to mark the club's 100th anniversary.
And it comes ahead of some special low-key plans to mark Anne's 75th birthday next month.
HELLO! from me
Melanie here, logging on to take over from Danielle as we patiently wait for King Charles to arrive in Caithness.
His Majesty was in Sandringham just yesterday, so I suspect he's had a busy day of travel to get so far north.
Throwback
Can you believe the below photo was taken exactly 21 years ago today?
On this day in 2004, King Charmes and Queen Camilla hit up the Sandringham Flower Shower - and don't they look happy?
Our kilted King
As a Scot (couldn't you tell from my surname Macleod?) I let out a squeal of joy when I saw King Charles arriving in Caithness today in his kilt!
Dad jokes
Prince William proved he's just like other dads on Sunday night, when he playfully teased Charlotte following the Lionesses victorious match.
Following the official ceremony, the Prince of Wales appeared to have a spare medal in hand. Pictures show him with a broad smile, playfully teasing the young royal as she eagerly reached out for the medals before handing one over - cute!
Harry's secret trip
Did you notice that Prince Harry took an extended break from California last month?
A busy Queen
While King Felipe met with the President of the Balearic Islands in Majorca, his wife, Queen Letizia, flew to Tenerife to meet the President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo.
The ever stylish queen donned a floaty red dress for the occasion, looking as fabulous as ever.
Queen Camilla's favourite accessory
This weekend saw Queen Camilla attend the King George Racing Weekend, wearing a unique twisted gold bracelet - one she's been seen wearing for over 30 years!
“Queen Camilla has been wearing this distinctive bracelet since the early 1990s," says jeweller Maxwell Stone. "While Queen Camilla has never spoken publicly about the bracelet's meaning, its enduring presence over decades suggests it may carry deep personal or sentimental value – perhaps a cherished gift or a symbol of significance," Maxwell continues.
Royal visitors on the way...
It sounds like the palace is set to receive some special visitors in the coming months, with a trip to Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle potentially being arranged for the Lionesses...

Prince William and Prince's Charlotte's milestone outing
When Prince William and his daughter Charlotte stepped out for the Women's Euro 2025 final, it marked the first time the royal duo enjoyed a public sporting engagement just the two of them.
HELLO!'s Royal Editor Emily Nash said of the special appearance: "It was great to see Prince William and Princess Charlotte enjoying some dad-daughter bonding time together at the Euros final."
