Rod Stewart has already made an impact at this year's Glastonbury with his giant boombox toilet, but we can't wait to see the iconic singer at the Legends section of the festival. Rod will no doubt be cheered on by his impressively large family, with the singer having fathered eight children. He's also a grandfather to four grandchildren, with a fifth on the way!
The rock star's eldest child was born in 1963, while his youngest was welcomed into the world back in 2011. Rod shares his children with a variety of partners, including ex-girlfriend Susannah Boffey, and ex-wives Alana Stewart and Rachel Hunter, ex-girlfriend Kelly Emberg and his current wife, Penny Lancaster.

Sarah Streeter, 61
Rod welcomed his first child, daughter Sarah Streeter, back on 6 November 1963 with then-partner Susannah Boffey at the age of 17. However, the pair gave Sarah up for adoption, with the young girl being raised by Gerald and Evelyn Thubron.
Sarah only discovered her famous father's identity when she turned 18, but the pair reconciled in 2013 and have since gone on to form a strong bond. Speaking to MailOnline in 2018, Sarah said their relationship had "evolved" a lot, and the pair refer to one another as 'dad' and 'daughter'.

Meanwhile, Rod said of their relationship: "We're doing our best".
Kimberly Stewart, 45
© Dave BenettThe star's second child is daughter Kimberly, who was born on 21 August 1979 when Rod was married to Alana Stewart. Kimberly is well known in the United States as a businesswoman and model, but she has also turned her hand to acting. The star has appeared in films like Black and White, as well as TV series such as Agatha Christie's Poirot and Going to California.
Her organisation and curation business was partly inspired by her father, with Kimberly joking to PEOPLE: "During the quarantine, I couldn't stand looking at the chaos going on in my dad's pantry and kitchen so I got to work. I posted it on my Instagram for fun, and the response and feedback were phenomenal. I got direct messages from people asking me to come do their houses. At that point, the idea came to life, and I realized that I needed to reorganise closets professionally."
In 2011, Kimberly and actor Benicio del Toro welcomed a daughter, Delilah – Rod's first grandchild. In March 2025, Kimberly confirmed that she was expecting her second child. "Baby boy coming soon," she captioned a photoshoot that showed her cradling her blossoming baby bump in a fitted floral dress.
Sean Stewart, 44

Sean is an entrepreneur behind the brand Dirty Weekend, and has previously worked as a record producer and starred in Sons of Hollywood, which tracked the lives of Sean and Randy Spelling, the son of Aaron Spelling.
Sean has made a few headlines during his life, with him and his father being found guilty of assaulting a security guard, while in 2022, he was rushed to hospital after being involved in a traffic collision.
Rod's oldest son announced in July 2024 that he and his wife, Jody Weintraub, were divorcing just one year on from their elopement. He is currently dating Julia Stambler and has shared his hopes that he'll start his own family. "One day I want to have a family with children and I want to grow into the person I know I can be. I want to be a great dad," he admitted. "I am dealing with the pain so I can be a more self-confident man."
Ruby Stewart, 38
© Jim DysonRod's fourth child is daughter Ruby, whom he welcomed with ex-girlfriend Kelly Emberg back on 17 June 1987. Like her father, Ruby is a talented singer and is part of the band, Revoltaire, formed in 2015.
She is also part of The Sisterhood with Alyssa Bonagura, and the pair performed together at the CMC Rocks festival in Australia. Alongside her music career, Ruby is also a successful model.
Ruby welcomed her first child, a son named Otis, on 9 May 2023.
Renee Stewart, 33

Much like her famous mother, Renee is a model, alongside being a model and a qualified yoga teacher, completing the 500-hour class in 2019.
Liam Stewart, 30
© InstagramRod's second child with Rachel, and sixth overall, is son Liam, who entered the world on 5 September 1994. Liam is a talented sportsman, currently playing ice hockey for the Milton Keynes Lightning. He has previously played for the Spokane Chiefs and Guildford Flames.
Liam is also a dad and his own son, Louie, who was born on 12 May 2023, just three days after his cousin, Otis. 2024 saw Liam tie the knot in Croatia, with the whole Stewart clan attending and the couple welcomed their second child, a daughter named Elsie.
Alastair Stewart, 19
© Dave BenettAlastair is Rod's first son with current wife, Penny Lancaster, and he was born 27 November 2005. Alastair has entered the world of modelling, and Rod and Penny were two proud parents when the 18-year-old landed a billboard commercial with Palm Angels.
Rod revealed that when his son turned 15, he decided to give him a lesson in sex education - which didn't go quite to plan: "I just told him what he should and shouldn't do, but he's on top of it. He was like, 'Dad, I've got the internet. I know everything'".
Aiden Stewart, 14
© InstagramAiden is Rod's youngest child and he was born 16 February 2011. The youngster still has plenty of time to decide what he'll be, but he certainly follows in his father's footsteps by supporting Celtic F.C.
After having Aiden, Rod made a pledge to slow down and enjoy his kids growing up. "I'm trying to make more time now that I've carved out my career. I want to enjoy my kids. We're all planning a massive vacation somewhere. It's hard to get them all together because they are all off in different directions. But I am so proud of them."
