Just when it seemed expectant mother Liz Hurley had suffered enough indignities, Steve Bing is reportedly continuing to question the paternity of her baby, regardless of the emotional impact it may have on his estranged lover.

Apparently desperate to wash his hands of the unborn child Liz says is his, there are claims that the multi-millionaire American producer has questioned whether Friends actor Matthew Perry could be the father.

If Bing has indeed started these rumours, then this is the latest in a bizarre and offensive series of accusations and demands that has left Liz at turns bemused, hurt and angry, just months before she is due to give birth.

“This is outrageous,” her spokesman told HELLO! “She categorically denies that she has any kind of relationship with Matthew Perry, other than a professional one. These are ridiculous claims but fortunately she has the loyal support of family and friends to get her through all of this.”
