Today's royal agenda
What a fantastic day of royal watching we had on Tuesday! Not only did we see the Prince and Princess of Wales take on statesman-style roles by greeting French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte as they touched down in the UK, but we also witnessed a spellbinding tiara moment from Princess Kate, her first in two years.
Today, William and Kate are bowing out of the French state visit and letting King Charles and Queen Camilla take centre stage. We can expect to see the monarch visiting Windsor gardens alongside Macron, before being joined by Camilla to view the Charabanc horse and carriage. Later in the evening, the Macrons will attend a special banquet at Guildhall with the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Elsewhere, Prince Edward as Patron, will visit The Royal School in Wolverhampton. We'll be keeping you posted on all the latest royal news, live as it happens, so keep an eye out!
Kate's dazzling tiara
We're still swooning over Princess Kate's Givenchy look from last night's state banquet...
Yes, her floaty red gown was a real scene-stealer, but did you spot all of her dazzling jewellery? For the special occasion, the royal mother-of-three wore the Lover's Knot tiara studded with diamonds and 19 hanging pearls set in silver and gold.
The glittering headpiece was made for Queen Mary in 1913 and later gifted by the late Queen to Princess Diana when she married Prince Charles in 1981.
Find out more details about her look here.
How Kate broke self-imposed rule
Prior to the state banquet, Princess Kate and Prince William greeted the French President and his wife Brigitte Macron at RAF Northolt. In a departure from her usual diplomatic dressing, however, Kate opted for a putty-hued outfit designed by Christian Dior.
The designer look broke Kate's golden rule for symbolically important visits. Usually, she would honour a country's national colours, opting for green on St. Patrick's Day, for instance. Meanwhile, in 2016, she wore red red during her 2016 royal tour of Canada.

Princess Anne's hair
King Charles's sister, Princess Anne, is a stickler for tradition, particularly when it comes to her hair and fashion.
Although the royal typically opts for bouffant hairdos, on Tuesday evening, Anne switched things up, opting for a more refined, sleek 'do with less volume. How chic!
Day 2 of state visit begins
King Charles and Macron were all smiles as they kicked off the second day of the state visit. In the morning, the pair toured the gardens at Windsor castle. Charles looked dapper in a smart stone-hued suit and a patterned blue tie, while Macron donned a dark three-piece suit.
Why no one does pomp better than the UK
Day 2 of the state visit is underway but it will take some going to trump the extraordinary spectacle of pomp and pageantry exhibited yesterday as the royals pulled out all the stops to welcome French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, to the UK.
HELLO! Royal Editor Emily Nash was in Windsor to witness events first-hand, and captured all the best bits on film. She also made the case that no one does royal ceremony better than the UK. Head over to The HELLO! Royal Club – the home of HELLO!'s biggest royal fans – to watch the video and let Emily know if you agree with her.
William and Kate's PDA moment
Quick rewind!
Did you spot Princess Kate and Prince William's rare PDA moment during the first day of the state visit? While the couple are generally quite reserved when they're in the spotlight, William and Kate were seen exchanging big smiles, with the Princess even wrapping her arm around her husband after travelling to Windsor.
