Smoothie tips
● Be sure to leave the skin on the apple for the fibre boost.
● It's also a good idea to buy a couple of extra bananas, peel them, and throw them in the freezer for future smoothies.
● Smoothies blend faster if you add liquid first. If you like your drinks thinner, feel free to add ice cubes or cold water. This is a great way to increase the volume without adding to your caloric load. 

5 raw almonds, whole or chopped

1 red apple, unpeeled, cored and chopped
1 small banana, frozen and cut into chunks
125 ml / 4 fl oz fat-free natural greek yoghurt
185 g / 61⁄2 oz skimmed milk

1⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon, or to taste

In a blender or food processer, blend the almonds until finely ground. 
(If your blender isn't powerful enough to grind almonds, you can buy chopped almonds or even ground almonds instead.) Add the apple, banana, yoghurt, milk and cinnamon. Blend until of desired consistency.
