The Step Up actor put together the minute-long video for Alisa Finley, an 18-year-old who has been diagnosed with a stage four brain tumour, that included footage of his wife Jenna and himself singing Pharrell William’s Happy.
"Hey Alisa, what’s going on? It’s Channing, hi!", the actor said as he started his video.

Channing continued with: "Just wanted to do a little vid and say what’s up!", before adding: "We were at the Oscars the other night and Pharrell came on and we can’t ever be not dancing and happy when that song Happy comes on so we made a little ditty, a little song for you, love you mama, just know that you’re loved and we’re giving you a big old kiss from over here."
The 33-year-old then blew Alisa a kiss before the video cut to Channing with his wife Jenna at the Oscars, where he videoed himself speaking to Alisa: "Hello my love, just here and wanted to give you a big old kiss, and say we love you and, I guess we’re gonna go out along and be happy tonight."
The couple then went on to sing a personalised version of the hit song to Alisa.
Alisa, whose bucket list can be found on the Facebook page set up for the teen, Alisa’s Butterflies, has amended her bucket list to add "almost done", next to "1. Kiss Channing Tatum".
The actor has been making a bigger name for himself in Hollywood over the last few years.
Roles in 21 Jump Street, Magic Mike and Side Effects have made Channing hot property, and his new role in the Wachowski’s Jupiter Ascending, an intergalactic tale of romance and adventure with Mila Kunis and Eddie Redmayne, is one of the biggest yet.
Channing and Jenna record themselves at the Oscars
In the latest trailer for the sci-fi epic we see Mila’s character, the titular Jupiter who turns out to be the rightful Queen of the Universe, kiss Channing’s Caine, a genetically-engineered assassin who is trying to save her from being killed by Eddie’s evil and insane Balem the King.
The film is due out 25 July.
