He continued: "I told him about the fact that our celebrities have entered into the game with great seriousness. Princess Kate's insight into raising kids
The Princess of Wales has penned a personal essay, The Power of Human Connection in a Distracted World,' urging people to ditch their screens and genuinely connect with loved ones. Kate, 43, appears to draw on her own family experiences to emphasise her key message: "Look the people you care about in the eye and be fully there – because that is where love begins."
" We're raising a generation that may be more 'connected' than any in history while simultaneously being more isolated, more lonely, and less equipped to form the warm, meaningful relationships that research tells us are the foundation of a healthy life," she continued. Prince William didn't allow star to film at Adelaide Cottage
Despite the close proximity of his residence, Adelaide Cottage, Prince William hosted Hollywood actor Eugene Levy for their extensive interview for Apple TV+ at Windsor Castle.
The Prince of Wales chose the castle to conduct the Reluctant Traveler chat to ensure the privacy of his four-bedroom family home was maintained. Their current home at Adelaide Cottage has never been pictured inside, and the royal couple does not conduct official meetings there.
But it's not the only reason, as Windsor Castle does have historical appeal and scale - it features over 1,000 rooms, after all!

Zoe Ball shares details of Prince William's 'beautiful' gesture
The Radio 2 host Zoe Ball has revealed on her Dig It! podcast that Prince William sent two letters during her mother's final weeks and after her passing in April 2024. The broadcaster, whose mother Julia died from cancer at 74, described the letters from the Prince of Wales as "most beautiful."
"There was a really amazing moment when mum was really, really poorly, and I went up to see her. My brother was there. I said, 'Mum, we've had a letter.' "I read her Prince William's letter. And at the time, he was going through his own difficulties with both his father and his lovely wife going through their cancer journey. And I thought it was so kind of him to take the time to write. And it meant the world to her. She loved that letter," she remembered.
Prince Harry joins Movember leaders at New York event
Ahead of a star-studded appearance with wife Meghan at the Project Healthy Minds gala tonight, Prince Harry joined Movember, the leading global men's health nonprofit, for an evening conversation around the men's mental health crisis.
Harry, who has spent over a decade working with veterans and advocating for mental health, spoke about a pattern he's witnessed across communities: the profound isolation men experience when they believe no one will understand what they're going through.
"Yet when I speak to men, the same struggles keep coming up," he said, "Which tells me that the weight they carry isn't uncommon. The biggest barrier is the belief that no one will understand. Loneliness convinces you you're the only one, which is rarely true."
Princess Kate is all smiles during Early Years outing in Oxford
The Princess of Wales was all smiles as she met parents and children at a Home-Start session in Oxford on Thursday. Kate, 43, visited the local family support charity to see how it was helping parents and young children to build strong relationships and overcome early-years challenges.
Kate, who has long been an advocate for children's early years development, took part in a play session and spoke with parents at Rose Buds Stay and Play, which offers activities for families such as sensory play, singing, storytelling and movement.
The mother-of-three's outing comes shortly after the release of her personal essay 'The Power of Human Connection in a Distracted World'.
"So kind and genuinely interested"
During the Princess of Wales' visit to Home-Start in Oxford, the future Queen spoke with one mother about how the charity helps with overcoming early years challenges. The parent said the encounter with Kate was meaningful. "It meant so much to be heard. I never imagined I'd be sharing my story with The Princess - and she was so kind and genuinely interested."
The visit was timed with the charity's rollout of new volunteer training based on the animated films released by Kate's Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood in August. The series highlights how everyday moments of connection help to shape a child's life.
