Davide Sanclimenti quickly shot to fame this year after becoming a fan favourite, and one-half of the winning couple on Love Island 2022.

Dubbed the 'Italian stallion,' the 27-year-old has since dropped an incredible new collection with Boohoo Man that's inspired by his signature sense of style.

Ahead of the release, we caught up with Davide during New York Fashion Week to talk about his first menswear range, plus what girlfriend and fellow Love Island winner, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, thinks about his style. Keep reading for all the details…
Chatting with the reality star over a cappuccino or two, as soon as Davide walked in the room, my first thought was just how well put together he was. Dressed in one of his very own designs – the velour polo and jogger set – he's quick to mention just how proud he is of the range.

"The collection is a very high-end collection," he says. "So I love the fact that we're taking care when it comes to the quality of the material, and the shape of every single item. I feel it's going to be a collection that's going to be good for any age."

"I love the shirts that are a bit open in the collar," explains Davide, "and I love some of the particular fabrics we've used. My favourite is an open shirt with short sleeves."

And when it comes to fashion, the Love Island winner doesn't look to anyone else for inspiration, he believes in following your own instincts:
"I don't have a celebrity style icon – I just go by my own intuition. I'll go to a shop very quickly and have a look because when I see something that I like, it gets my attention straight away."

But what does Ekin-Su think about his fashion sense?
"Most of the time she's happy with what I'm wearing!" he laughs. "She's actually very happy as well that I've signed with Boohoo Man. She always compliments me on my outfits. She's never told me 'no I don't like this outfit!"
