Zoorassic Park at ZSL London Zoo

Looking for something fun to do with the children now that they are on their summer holidays? Well, look no further! For only six weeks, ZSL London Zoo will becomes home to the most colossal creatures ever to walk the earth - dinosaurs!

Visitors to the Zoo will be taken back in time to a prehistoric world where they will come face-to-face with life-size, moving dinosaurs - from the giant but gentle brachiosaurus to the towering tyrannosaurus rex.

Included in Zoo entry, visitors will take a trip via a time machine to the Mesozoic era and ZSL's tour guides will help visitors spot dino-faves and families will be given their own passports for the time travel safari!

And it gets even better... Dino-fans can continue their time travel adventure by sleeping-over near the mega-lizards, experiencing the sights and sounds of ZSL London Zoo at night.

Summer Sleepover is available on select Saturdays in August and September, where kids can spend a night in the Zoo and enjoy a tour of the Zoo's animals - both prehistoric and contemporary.

Lobsterfest and Friends at Belgo

Brace yourselves because for the next two months, Belgo are getting their seafood on! This year, Belgo are celebrating their 25th anniversary... that's 25 years of moules, bieres, rotisserie chicken, grills and naturally, seafood!

From 1 July to 28 August, the popular restaurant are hosting their legendary Lobsterfest and Friends and they've created seven incredibly irresistible lobster and seafood dishes!

Yep, to honour this beloved, delicious crustacean, for the next two months they'll be cooking up Lobster and fresh crab dishes. And even better, they're pairing them alongside two of their crafted beers.

Madame Tussauds Alien: Escape

Madame Tussauds London have unveiled its brand new immersive Alien: Escape experience, set to terrify willing guests this summer. Generations have watched the iconic film franchise and now, thanks to the London attraction, brave wannabe crew members can step on board the Covenant ship and come face to face with the Xenomorph opening Saturday 15 July.

Created in partnership with FoxNext Destinations, the new experience follows the release of the critically acclaimed blockbuster film, Alien: Covenant and challenges guests to navigate a trail of blood, gore, chaos and danger. The mission is simple: Run. Survive. Escape.

Hollywood heavyweight Michael Fassbender's first wax figure, in character as next generation Weyland-Yutani synthetic Walter, will join courageous guests on their gruesome quest. The multi-sensory fright-fest will also take some of the most infamous and petrifying sci-fi creatures ever to hit our screens and place them in front of guests in all their heart-racing and bloodcurdling glory.

Alien: Escape is included in all ticket types to Madame Tussauds London; prices start from £29. Admittance to the experience is aged 15 +.

If you missed the West End London run a couple of years ago, fear not! Miss Saigon is going on tour, starting at Leicester and travelling to Birmingham, Dublin, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Southampton and Manchester.

The thrilling musical follows the last days of the Vietnam War. Kim, 17, meets and falls in love with an American GI named Chris but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. For three years Kim goes on an epic journey of survival to find her way back to Chris, who has no idea he's fathered a son.

Spirit of Tiki Cocktail Festival

Spice up your weekend and nab a ticket to the Spirit of Tiki Festival. This Polynesian party is taking place in Regent's Park on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th July, and was founded to celebrate everything good about tiki culture. Expect hula dancing and flavoursome street food alongside a plethora of vibrant rum cocktails.

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre

London's best outdoor theatre experience is back this summer, with a range of musicals and plays to suit every taste. The theatre is currently playing host to A Tale of Two Cities, a very modern adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic. Oliver Twist Created For Everyone Aged Six And Over will take over from 17 July to 5 August, after which Jesus Christ Superstar, which received rave reviews last year, returns for another stellar set. Make a night of it with a picnic in Regent's Park beforehand, or enjoy the alfresco dining choices at the theatre itself.
