Kylie Minogue's pert derriere has wiggled its way into difficulties with one British high street chain. Woolworths has been forced to recall 250,000 copies of an advent calendar featuring the Aussie popster's charms, after fans flocked to the stores to check out the seductive photo and tamper with December 27.
The £1.49 calendar has 31 windows, one for each day of the month, which open to reveal a chocolate. Problems emerged, however, as youngsters found the window for December 27, directly adjacent to the pop princess' bum, irresistible.
"We have had to seal the calendar into a plastic bag to prevent it being tampered with," explained Woolworth's spokeswoman Nicole Lander. "Young boys thought it amusing to lift the window next to Kylie's bottom. This wasn't fair to our customers so we have acted to stop it."
When the calendars first went on sale last month they proved very popular, but management for the retail chain soon noticed that they were especially attractive to schoolboy customers, provoking the re-packaging decision. "We couldn't have Kylie's bottom being pinched could we?" said Ms Lander.
