Christina Aguilera's many male admirers would be forgiven for feeling a little glum today, after it was revealed that the pop siren is set to get married. The chart-topping diva has been dating Jordan Bratman, who works for her management company, for seven months now and it seems the couple have decided to tie the knot.

The songstress has been keen to keep the news under wraps, but her new fiancé's grandmother let it slip to reporters on Tuesday. "Jordan asked her in Los Angeles," revealed 72-year-old Sally Bratman. "He called me and told me two days ago. I'm very happy they are engaged. His mum and dad are very happy too. I don't know when the wedding will be – soon, hopefully."

And the chanteuse is already sporting an engagement ring, says Sally: "They have a ring and she's worn it. I think it has a diamond in it, but I haven't seen it myself."

The bride to be has remained rather more reserved when asked about her romantic life, however. "My relationship is something I won't talk about," she said recently. "The only thing I'll say is that I'm very happy right now."
