Get GaGa’s fringe

Singer’s dramatic bangs define her look

Lady GaGa has made her name with an uncompromising style featuring the minimum of clothing but the maximum of make-up, finished with peroxide blonde hair cut to create a sharp outline she uses to frame – and sometimes hide – her face.

The singer often wears her straight-cut fringe heavy on her face, making her dramatically made-up eyes the focus - when they’re not hidden behind shades - especially in contrast to her trademark pale lips.

The trick to creating such a heavy fringe is to blowdry the section over a round brush on a high heat, then finish with straightening irons – but first spritzing the hair with a layer of hairspray, which will give the fringe an almost stiff, structured finish.

Make sure the spray dries first before applying the irons.
