A letter from the Editor

Christmas is undoubtedly my favourite time of year... I think it's the old romantic in me. Be it watching the movies with all the happy ever-afters, re-connecting with dear friends (who feel like home no matter how long has gone by), and of course being able to show loved ones just how much you do really care. It's a time of reflection, hope and love all tied up in a beautiful red bow!

Being a mum of course has also given me a whole new take on Christmas that I'd long forgotten... The innocence, the unwavering belief in a magic that becomes so contagious and so palpable that even the biggest bah humbug in the family melts a little.

It's a reminder that dreams can come true and that even when things can't be proved or seen, they can still be believed in. That's powerful stuff in my book and something us adults need more of in these unpredictable and changing times.

I was thrilled and honoured when HELLO! asked me to be the guest editor of their Christmas Digital Issue! I have grown up in the public eye and the publication has shared most of the biggest moments in my life.

As I've changed and evolved, they have always been supportive and, like myself, believe in kindness and helping people excel, and that's just what we need right now! For me it was the perfect time and fit for us to work together on this very special Christmas Digital Issue.

I got in touch with some dear friends in the industry who I consider to be inspirational and experts in their field.

Top actors, chefs, presenters, musicians, beauty experts and lifestyle gurus have all come together to share with us their own personal tips as well as their favourite things for us all to incorporate into this extra special and much-needed Christmas holiday. Between us all, I think we pretty much have your Chrimbo covered!

Thank you to all of you who took the time to make this edition extra special and sparkly. I think after all we've been through, we are ready to make up for lost time and embrace this Christmas like never before.

I don't know about you, but I've learned over the years that it's the simple things that are most important and that a big part of life is what you focus on - and so focus on hope and love... As a dear friend and legend of a writer once wrote, "If you look for it, love really is all around."

May you find the love and hope YOU need this Christmas and for many more to come... Cheers! Here's to health, wealth and happiness!

Right! I'm off for a glass of bubbles and to wrap pressies whilst singing along to Michael Bublé!

Love always!
