Celeb-inspired gift guide: dad Jack Osbourne

07 DECEMBER 2012

It has been an emotional rollercoaster of a year for Jack Osbourne. In April, he welcomed his first child into the world with his then fiancée Lisa Stelly. Just three weeks later, the media star exclusively revealed to HELLO! Magazine in an emotional interview with mum Sharon that he had developed Multiple Sclerosis.

But Jack vowed to remain positive despite his diagnosis, adopting the motto: "Adapt and overcome", and the year ended on a high when he tied the knot with his love Lisa in a romantic Hawaiian ceremony.

"I feel like marriage will make our bond even stronger. Having Pearl and now marrying Lisa are just the best things ever. They have changed my life," he said in interview.

To top off his crazy few months, Jack helped save a woman's life, pulling her from the sea after she had suffered a heart attack on the Kona-Kohala coast of West Hawaii.

The 26-year-old impressed his new wife Lisa Stelly with his heroic turn. She tweeted: "Really proud of Jack and his friend Tyler who saved a woman on the beach yesterday who'd had a heart attack and drown (sic).

So, with Christmas around the corner, what do you get for such a courageous dad like Jack? Here at HELLO! Online, we have thought of a few gifts that are bound to get him excited this holiday.

Every young dad wants to look good, so why not enlist the help of online designer menswear retailer Tessuti. Offering premium brands including Hugo Boss, Armani and Canada Goose, whose Expedition Parka would look perfect on the trendy young man.

Jack, who has been looking a lot trimmer in recent months, likes to keep fit. So wireless activity tracker Fitbit One would be a thoughtful gift.

The Fitbit One counts steps taken, distance travelled and calories burned, as well as measuring stairs climbed and sleep quality. It also has an inbuilt alarm system that gently vibrates when worn on the wrist to wake the person up without disturbing their sleep partner – great for letting Lisa lie in after late nights with baby Pearl.

And for when Jack wants to switch off and listen to music in style, these Philips CitiScape Uptown headphones are ideal.

A double layer wall inside the ear shells seals the edge between cushion and housing helping to lower background noise.

*Excludes Stone Island.
