Catherine Zeta-Jones hits a high note at star-studded school benefit

Forget bake sales and raffles; New York’s Windward School held a fundraiser with a difference at the weekend.

Oscar-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones provided the entertainment.

The glamorous mum-of-two – whose children Dylan, 11, and Carys, nine, are pupils at the school – took to the stage to sing with a group of students at Saturday evening’s benefit.

She was cheered on at the soiree, held at Italian eatery Cipriani 42nd Street, by her husband Michael.

The Hollywood power couple were not the only famous faces in the crowd – Police rocker Sting and his wife Trudie Styler were also at the fundraiser.

Catherine famously won an Academy Award for her turn in 2002 musical Chicago, and will also showcase her vocal talents in Tom Cruise’s upcoming film Rock of Ages.
